Three held for jewellery designer’s death in East Delhi

Two days after a jewellery designer was shot dead at his resident in Laxmi Nagar, three persons have been arrested in the case. They were allegedly hired by the deceased’s elder brother to put an end to a property dispute.
‘When the investigating officer analysed the CCTV footage of the nearby area, the assailants were seen fleeing in a car. The car was tracked down to a parking lot in Khajuri Khas where Vinod Kumar alias Chhothu who ran the parking lot was arrested,’ said Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Ajay Kumar.
On the basis of disclosure made by him, two other accused persons — Bhupinder alias Bhuppi and Ajay were also arrested.
