Three held for gang-rape and filming the act in Greater Noida

Greater Noida police have arrested three people on charges of gang-rape, filming the act and circulating the video. 

The victim, a college girl, was abducting around four months back and was raped by them several times while <g data-gr-id="22">enroute</g> to college.

“The case was registered at Dadri police station following the complaint of girl’s parents and the accused identified as <g data-gr-id="24">Dharmi</g>, Firey and Satish were arrested. They were produced in the court on Tuesday and were sent to jail,” said Sanjay Kumar Yadav, S P Rural, Noida. 

According to <g data-gr-id="28">complainant</g>, the accused persons have been raping her since last four months. 

In the month of May, when she was going to college, they abducted her in a car from near ITBP camp and gave her some anaesthetic. They then raped her and recorded it on mobile camera, said a police official quoting the girl’s statement.

“She said the accused dropped her to the college and threatened to circulate her video clip if she complains to police. Since then, she said the accused were exploiting her,” added Yadav. 

Few days back, the accused persons allegedly tried to use the victim as a carrier to smuggle some weapon which she denied. The accused persons threatened her to circulate the video clip on <g data-gr-id="23"><g data-gr-id="25">whatsapp</g></g> but she refused to do what they wanted.

“In her statement she said that the accused persons wanted her to deliver a gun and some cartridges to some person at Pari Chowk. When she refused, they circulated her video on <g data-gr-id="27">whatsapp</g> and sent the clip to her family members as well on August 19,” the official added. The police, however, said they have not recovered any such video yet.
