The first incident was reported from Kapashera area of south-west district, where an 8-year-old girl was raped by an unidentified person late on Friday night.
According to police, when the victim was alone at home, the accused managed to get inside her residence and raped her.
When her parents, who are labourers, reached home, they saw their daughter in a pool of blood. The girl narrated the incident to her mother, after which a complaint to police was made. She was taken to a nearby government hospital, where she is undergoing treatment.
