Three arrested for GB Road murder

Three persons have been arrested, while one is still at large, for the alleged murder of a 34-year-old man at central Delhi’s GB Road area on June 7, police said on Thursday. The accused have been identified as Kapil Dev, <g data-gr-id="21">Shanu</g>, Mohan, Ali and the name of the fourth (absconding) was not disclosed by the police for convenience in <g data-gr-id="28">investigation</g>. They were all reported to be pickpockets. The deceased, <g data-gr-id="22">Ishtaq</g> Ahmad, was there in GB Road with a friend and they had an argument with the group of accused men over some trivial issue. All of them were reported to be in an inebriated condition. Things turned serious when one of the accused allegedly slapped <g data-gr-id="23">Ishtaq’s</g> <g data-gr-id="26">friend,</g> and left the scene. <g data-gr-id="24">Ishtaq</g> chased them till the Anglo Arabic School and started a fight once again. Suddenly, one of the accused pulled out a knife and stabbed <g data-gr-id="25">Ishtaq</g> to death, said Paramaditya, Deputy Commissioner of Police
