Threatened with gang rape case, trio murder friend

Four persons, including a woman, have been arrested for allegedly murdering a 27-year-old man after he made sexual advances towards her, police said on Monday.
According to police, the woman allegedly threatened the three other accused that if they did not kill the youth for having tried to enter into a physical relationship with her, she would implicate them all in a gang rape case.
The four accused were arrested on Monday for allegedly stabbing Harrendra to death. The victim’s body was found on 19 February in a drain near his house in the Sahibabad area here. Apart from the woman, the other three accused arrested in the case have been identified as Tarun, Rahul and Tinku, all residents of Sahibabad.
‘We received information today that the four accused would gather near Bhojpur... A trap was laid and we arrested them. The accused have confessed to their crime,’ SHO Yadav said.
