Students seeking admission to undergraduate courses in Delhi University colleges will have to meet the Admission Eligibility Criteria (AEC) of the colleges. The University administration has made it clear that there will be no change in the AEC of the colleges.
A DU senior official said, 'First cut-off marks will be declared on 27 June, after which students who are declared eligible for admission will have to fulfill the AEC of that particular college where the candidate is seeking admission. Various Delhi University colleges have declared their Admission Eligibility Criteria on their websites for the admission to various undergraduate courses and every college has its different criteria'.
For example, Daulat Ram College has said that under AEC, students seeking admission to Chemistry (Honours) should have a score of 85 per cent in Chemistry in their class XII finals. Similarly, for admission in Mathematics (Honours) one has to have a score of 90 per cent in Maths.
In the case of Hans Raj College, students seeking admission to English (Honours) must have 85 per cent marks in the subject.
