They beat all odds and made their parents and us proud

The second and third positions have been bagged by Siddhartha Biswas from Kendriya Vidyalaya, R K Puram and Raskhit Malik from Amity International School, Noida. They have scored 484 and 482 marks respectively.

Mudita, a student of DAV Public School, said that her dream is to become an IAS officer so that she can serve her country. A visually-impaired student, Rakshit Malik who scored 96.4 per cent, and appeared at the 3rd position in the category said he wants to become an academician or join the Indian Foreign Services.

“I want to be an academician as I am fond of the teaching profession, would love to join university to carry on with my hobby,” Malik said, adding, “I love to read and write poems.”

The student of Amity International School in Noida said: “Such a result is not that difficult. If you have your parents and teachers with you, then nothing is difficult. I never took any coaching classes as my mother has been a coaching class for me.”

“I dream big and set my target to realise that dream on the ground, I prefer smart work rather working long hours for nothing,” Malik added.

“Rakshit has a positive outlook towards life with a keen to succeed. He has tremendous retention capabilities and has always been brilliant in academics. He scored a perfect 10 CGPA his class X Board examinations,” Renu Singh, principal of Amity school said.

“He is an achiever who was honoured with the Amicable Personality award in 2014-15. He is an intrepid, perseverant and fastidious person who loves writing articles and poetry along with excellent oratory skills,” the principal added.
