A special CBI Court has granted bail to the promoters of Essar group and Loop Telecom in a case arising out of 2G scam case. Pronouncing the order for five persons, the court said on Friday that there was no apprehension that they could tamper with the evidence if released on bail.

The Essar group promoters Ravi Ruia and Anshuman Ruia, the Loop Telecom promoters I P Khaitan and Kiran Khaitan and the Essar group director, strategy and planning, Vikash Saraf were directed by the court to furnish personal bail bond of Rs 5 lakh each and two securities of the same amount.
