The Hindu Editor-in-Chief resigns; N Ravi takes over

The Hindu Editor-in-Chief Siddharth Varadarajan announced his resignation from the newspaper on Monday, choosing social networking platform Twitter to publicise his decision. Varadarajan was appointed editor of The Hindu on 20 July, 2011, by Kasturi and Sons, the family that owns the newspaper.
N Ravi has taken over as Editor-in-Chief of The Hindu and Malini Parthasarathy as Editor. Arun Anant is no longer the CEO of Kasturi & Sons Ltd, the company that owns and publishes The Hindu Group of publications.
N Ram has become chairman of KSL and publisher of The Hindu and Group publications and N Murali co-chairman of the company. These decisions were taken at the company’s Board meeting on Monday.
