The HD treat

This week we are celebrating Star World Premiere HD and for good measure that too. Unfortunately we are of the lot that loves our series and this channels seems to be the best thing this year. No offence to the new Mahabharat and Mallika Sherawat’s shenanigans on The Bachelorette India. The latter we could well do without. 

For starters, the new channel is screening Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D, Betrayal, The Blacklist, The Goldbergs, Lucky 7, The Michael J Fox Show, Trophy Wife, Sleepy Hollow, Mom and Dads - all in their nascent season one. And yes, season six of Castle and season nine of Criminal Minds season five of Glee...phew! You get the drift?

As they proudly advertised - India gets to watch all this with the American TV watchers, well before the rest of the world! Do we hear a hallelujah!?

And if you thought we were being snooty - here’s a real time lowdown on Devon Ka Dev Mahadev! Life OK’s  mythological TV series screens the maha episode on the 29 September. The audiences will witness the epic moment when Mahadev will take the form of a human - Kapal Dhaari Agoori to save Mahakali, Sudhesh Berry will be seen in a double role in the episode.
