Tempo rams into RTV, leaves 2 minors, driver injured

A private school RTV collided with a tempo leaving three persons including two students and the RTV driver with minor injuries in Outer Delhi’s Narela area on Wednesday morning. 

According to the police, the tempo driver was arrested on the spot when the locals caught him as he was trying to flee while all the injured persons were taken to Raja Harish Chand hospital where they were given first aid and then discharged.

According to the police, the incident took place at around 7.45 am on Wednesday near the hospital when an over-speeding tempo rammed into the RTV vehicle from behind which left three people injured.

Out of the three injured, two were minor students. Total ten students were on board the RTV which was carrying them to the DAV public school in Narela, police said.

A case of rash and negligent driving has been registered against the accused tempo driver at the Narela police station under relevant sections of the IPC. Further investigation is on.
