Temperatures dip in Doon Valley

On Sunday, due to light drizzle in most parts of the state including Rishikesh and Haridwar, tempratures dipped in the valley. Throughout the day, the sun remained hidden behind the clouds in the Doon valley. Not to speak of coolers and AC, most of the natives keep fans off. Â
After bearing the scorching sun for more than a week, light rainfall brings a great respite for locals and tourists alike. The temperature dipped to 27 degreee Celsius from yesterday 37 degree Celsius recorded at noon. In this month, the highest recorded temperature was 42 degreee Celsius. The drop in temperature encouraged tourists to flock to famous tourists’ spots. In Mussorrie, the temperature fell to 24 degree Celsius. Â
