‘Tehsin organised terror activities from jewellery shop in Nepal’

On 11 November, 2013, Millennium Post first reported that he was hiding in Nepal and was running a jewellery shop in Thamel. During the interrogation he admitted that he owned a shop and used it as a platform to plan subversive activities.

The shop is named New Ali’s Boutique Nepali Jewellery at Bhagawanisthan, P. O. Box number-11343, Thamel, which is known as a safe haven for most people involved with the underworld and terror related activities.

Mohammed Danish Ansari, who was arrested last year in January from his village in Darbhanga, Bihar, by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), helped Tehsin conduct meetings with other sleeper cells based in Bihar and Jharkhand in the shop.

‘They had series of meeting in their shop before executing serial blasts in India including those in Bodh Gaya on 7 July and Patna on 27 October,’ Delhi police Special Cell sources said.

In July, 2013, Special Cell officers had tipped the Nepal police about Yasin and Tehsin’s hide out in Kalimati. ‘But unfortunately both managed to flee. Later Yasin was arrested and today we have managed to arrest Tahseen,’ police sources said.
