Teenaged boy accused of theft hangs self

A teenaged boy, from Bihar, allegedly committed suicide in Ghaziabad on Sunday night after he was accused of stealing Rs 7,000 from the house where he worked as domestic help, police said.
Deen Dayal(18), a class X student of a school in Kavi Nagar area in Ghaziabad had been employed by Subhash Chandra Sengar as a domestic help. He was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his room early on Monday morning. In the suicide note found in the room, the boy claimed responsibility for his death.
‘He had been brought up in the house of S C Sengar, who works as an engineer in the railways. He also helped out in domestic chores in the house,’ police officials said.
In a suicide note which was found on the bed, Dayal wrote that he was killing himself because he was disturbed by allegations of theft levelled against him by the family. Police officials added that they were examining the role of the family he lived with in the suicide. However, thus far no case has been registered.
