Teachers’ Day: IP University discusses role of educators

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University organised a function on the occasion of Teachers’ Day at its Dwarka campus. IIM (Lucknow) director Prof. Devi Singh was the chief guest at the event. 

Speaking to the audience, Singh said, ‘The role of teachers has now changed.  They are just facilitator and guide and are equal partner in teaching – learning process.’ 

IIT (Delhi) director Prof. RK Shevgaonkar said, ‘As a teacher you should always be concerned, passionate towards teaching and try to inspire students.’
