Tata Motors forays into Indonesian market, launches three vehicles

Tata Motors on Tuesday said that it has entered the Indonesian market with the launch of three passenger vehicles.The company’s wholly-owned subsidiary PT Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia (TMDI) has introduced Tata Aria, Tata Vista and Tata Safari Storme in the Indonesian market.
Commenting on the development, Tata Motors managing director Karl Slym said: ‘Since we made the announcement to enter this market a year back, we have tested various products across Indonesian terrain and are convinced that we are bringing in the right product mix, offering smart solutions for mobility to our Indonesian customers.’
PT TMDI president director Biswadev Sengupta said: ‘All these products are being introduced after extensive trials and tests in Indonesia to ensure that they meet the operating requirements here.’
