LEDs to cut CO2 by 80 mn tonnes a year, save Rs 40,000 cr power
27 March 2017 11:47 AM GMTPower minister Piyush Goyal had said that the government's initiative to promote LEDs will help cut carbon dioxide emissions by 80 million tonnes per annum and save around Rs 40,000 crore in power bills on a yearly basis.
