Surjewala meets Shatrughan, terms it ‘social call’

Congress leader Randeep Surjewala on Monday met sulking Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Shatrughan Sinha amid reports of growing differences between the latter and his party. Surjewala described the meeting as a “social call”. Surjewala, who called on Sinha at the latter’s residence, later said no political significance should be attached to it. “I have deep regards for Shatrughan Sinhaji. Every personal relationship can’t be viewed from political prism. Hope media friends understand,” he said.
