Surender Mohan powers NLC to 121% Q3 net jump

The company's net profit in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year stood at Rs 221.65 crore, the company said in a filing to BSE. Its total income from operations increased to Rs 1,314.95 crore compared to Rs 1,255.70 crore in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal, it said. Other income of the NLC zoomed to Rs 553.41 crore in the quarter under review versus Rs 115.44 crore in the third quarter of FY'13. ‘Other income includes an amount of Rs 426.63 crore towards dues of surcharge and interest receivable from Tangedco,’ it said.
