Suchitra Sen's condition stable

Undergoing treatment for a chest infection, Suchitra was on Sunday night rushed to the CCU after her condition deteriorated and her heart beat became irregular.
‘Suchitra Sen’s medical condition is stable now. Her breathlessness and palpitation have settled and the vital parameters are satisfactory.
‘She has had breakfast and remains comfortable. Her condition is being constantly monitored,’ the nursing home bulletin said.
However, a scheduled cataract operation of the actress has been deferred. Suchitra, 82, was admitted to the nursing home last week after she complained of breathlessness.
The actress, whose first film to hit the screen was Bengali movie Sharey Chuattor, is known for her performances in films like Deep Jwele Jaai and Uttar Falguni.
