Suchitra Sen shifted to CCU, doing fine

The condition of iconic Bengali actress Suchitra Sen, under treatment in the critical care unit (CCU) of a nursing home here, continues to be stable, a medical bulletin said Wednesday.
Undergoing treatment for a chest infection, Sen was Sunday night rushed to the hospital after her condition deteriorated and her heart beat became irregular. A statement Monday had claimed that her condition was stable.
‘Her vital parameters are satisfactory. She had a good night’s sleep and had normal prescribed diet,’ claimed the latest report.
She is being administered antibiotics and other supportive therapies for her respiratory ailment.
