Student gang-raped by school mates in Ggn

In a shocking incident, a class IX girl was gang-raped by a group of her school mates on Wednesday evening. The incident took place when two boys of her school called her down near her house and got her into their car. After driving for a while, two more boys joined in and raped her in the moving car.

According to the police, only two boys raped her while the other two were just watching when the heinous crime was being performed and after raping her, they dropped her in the back side of her house. Sources also revealed that the boys and the victim were from the Senior Secondary Government School of Bhaangrola village.

According to the sources, the girl at the first place sat in the car only because she knew the culprits and was friendly with her.

Police also said that at first the culprits thought that the victim won’t come forward to report the crime, but when she did, they tried to escape from the village.

Police arrested the four accused on Thursday afternoon. The four accused were identified as Mohit, Aakash, Deepak and Sonu (18-19 years), all belonging to the families of farmers of the village.

The four accused were produced before the court magistrate on Thursday after which they have been taken into remand for two days. The police have registered a case against the four boys in Kherki Daula police station under Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).
