Stalker stabs 20-yr-old, injures mother in E Delhi

A 20-year-old girl was stabbed to death by a jilter lover (21) who later injured the girl’s mother as
well when they were sleeping in their house in east Delhi’s Welcome area. The stalker was out
on bail in a molestation case that was filed by the same girl.
The deceased has been identified as Farha (20) who was stabbed by 21-year-old Ayub. On Friday, at around 6.30 am, when she was sleeping in her house, Ayub managed to enter her room through the door that was open.
He then stabbed her in front of her mother. When the victim’s mother, Suhana (40), tried to intervene and raise an alarm, Ayub attacked her with the knife too.
Farha was stabbed to death while Suhana incurred serious injuries. The accused has been identified and a man-hunt is on to nab him.
According to the police, the accused, who fled from the scene after the attack, is currently out on bail in a molestation case registered against him in July by Farha.
The man had been stalking Farha for the past few months but she refused to befriend him and
lodged another complaint on Thursday against him after he molested her near her home, the police added.
A case under the relevant sections of murder and attempt to murder of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused.
