SS Yadav appointed as CEO of DJB

The AAP-led-government on Wednesday witnessed a major bureaucratic reshuffle as the Delhi Jal Board Chief Executive officer Vijay Kumar (92-batch IAS officer) got transferred to Food and Supplies department at the post of Secretary-cum-Commissioner in place of S S Yadav.

He has been transferred to DJB as Chief Executive Officer. Yadav was working in Food & Supplies and CMD under Delhi State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited (DSCSC). Notably, Vijay Kumar was the CEO of Delhi Jal Board on its first day of governance on December 28, 2013. On April 9, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) conducted a large-scale reshuffling of senior officers of the AGMUT cadre, wherein S S Yadav was transferred to Puducherry. But, the Delhi government was batting for Yadav to stay here.
