Srinivasan, other accused appear before CBI court

India Cements managing director and ICC president N Srinivasan besides other accused in the case pertaining to alleged quid-pro-quo investments made in YSRC chief Jaganmohan Reddy’s firms, today appeared before a special CBI court here which posted the matter to 20 November.
Former AP minister Sabitha Reddy, Jagan’s financial adviser V Vijay Sai Reddy, industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad and some IAS officers, who have been named in the 11 charge sheets in different aspects of the case also appeared before the court and marked their appearance.
Jagan, the prime accused in the case, who represents Pulivendula assembly seat in Kadapa district of
Andhra Pradesh, did not appear before the court, though he alongwith some more accused, who too, did not appear were represented by their respective counsels.
The court had on Monday granted exemption to Jagan from making personal appearance in the court as he had filed a petition saying he was on a visit to cyclone-affected districts of Andhra Pradesh.
