S Sreesanth, who has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons, from slap-gate to the fixing-gate, is annoyed and annoying. On Monday, a scuffle took place between Sreesanth and fellow Rajasthan Royals player, Ajeet Chandila, who has also been booked for spot-fixing.
A source in Delhi police’s Special Cell said, 'Sreesanth is feeling guilty about his involvement in spot-fixing. Soon after his arrest, he cried a lot. The guilt seems to be eating him up from within.'
On Monday during a face-to-face interaction with senior police officials investigating the case, when all the three player, Sreesanth, Chandila and Ankit Chavan were confronting their role in spot-fixing, Sreesanth lost his cool and accused Chandila of having lured him to spot fixing. He slapped Chandila in front of the officials and blamed him for the trouble he was in.’
'The two shouted at each other. Finally the investigating officers had to intervene,' the source added.
Chandila, however, was upset because the court had extended his stay in police custody for two days on Sunday.
