Sreedharan visits Vizag to study metro project

The proposed Visakhapatnam metro rail project will cover 30 km in the initial phase and the detailed project report will be drafted within six months, principal advisor for Andhra Pradesh metro projects, E Sreedharan said here on Tuesday. ‘I will complete the project report within six months to complete the first phase of the project in (next) three to four years,’ Sridharan told reporters after meeting officials of the Visakhpatnam Municipal Corporation and Visakhaptnam Urban Development Authority.
