All India Sub-Junior National Rowing C'ship starts

West Bengal Rowing Association will be organising the 20th edition of the All India Sub-Junior National Rowing Championship at Rabindra Sarobar Lake from June 5-10.
This event is organised under the Rowing Federation of India.
Participation of over 400 participants from 20 states of India is expected in the competition.
The opening ceremony will be held on Tuesday at around 4.30 pm.
Firhad Hakim, minister, Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Government of Bengal will be the chief guest for the opening ceremony.
Sujit Bose, MLA, will also grace the occasion as the Special Guest.
Debasish Kumar, Mayor-in-Council in charge (Parks and Garden, Sports, Advertisement and Car Parking) and Ajit Banerjee, president, Bengal Olympic Association will be present as the Guests of
Honour.
The competition will be conducted in accordance with the RFI Rules of Racing.
