AKBF founder Amjad Khan meets former India President

New Delhi: Amjad Khan, an International Boxing promoter and Founder of "Amjad Khan Boxing Foundation" and Director of "Amjad Khan Boxing Training Cente" and Telnet partner of "Super Boxing League".
Recently Mr. Khan had met with the 13th President of India, Honorable Pranab Mukherjee. Both shared their views regarding sports and Pranab Mukherjee praised the AKBF's hard work for tapping into future boxers and nurturing them. He also acknowledged the need to pay more attention to tribal children for the growth of their interest towards sports, and the former president also assured the founder of elevating the foundation to new heights when he was quoted as saying "Whatever I can do for your foundation I will Mr.Khan''.
Amjad Khan has been encouraged and appreciated for his service to promote boxing amongst less privileged youth in India. The former international boxer also shared about his boxing foundation that is working for the welfare of boxers and promotions of boxing Sports to encourage less privilege youth for creating their interest in boxing to bring self-discipline in life as well as making our country proud by winning medals in International competitions and joining India defense forces.
The Foundation's aim is to create not-for-profit boxing training facility for passionate youth in Govt school campus which will pave way for less privilege youth to participate in State and National level competitions.
The fully or partially funded opportunities to less privileged sportspersons for boxing training as well as sports scholarship opportunity through CSR to skilled boxers to prepare for boxing championships in Commonwealth, Olympic Games, World Boxing Championship, and in Professional league Championships.
The objective of the Boxing Facility in govt Schools is to offer an opportunity for maximum development of youth talent through boxing training and nurturing of their skills in this emerging sport in India.
