SP injured in an accident on E-way

Noida: SP (city) Noida Yogesh Singh Yadav was severely injured when his car was hit by a Wagon R on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. The accident occurred when Yadav was on his way for Jhatta Pasoli village where a truck carrying cows had turned over.

Yadav and his gunner received injuries on the head and neck. He along with the gunner were rushed to Kailash Hospital in Greater Noida. He was later discharged.

The Yamuna Expressway which connects Greater Noida with Noida and New Delhi witnesses three accidents a day on an average.

Yamuna Expressway was conceived with the idea to open up new avenue for industrial and urban development of the region. 

However the six-lane road divided by approximately 3-m wide median and 1.5 m paved shoulders has seen many fatal accidents.
