Sonia to visit Rae Bareli today

Congress president Sonia Gandhi along with her daughter Priyanka Vadra and son and party vice-president Rahul Gandhi will visit her parliamentary constituency on Monday. She will attend a function to lay the foundation stone of a factory to produce rail coach wheels and participate in the meeting of the district vigilance committee. Gandhi is also expected to attend the meeting of the vigilance committee along with his mother and sister.  According to party sources here, during her day-long programme, Gandhi will meet a girl treated by the Smile Train, which provides free cleft and palate treatment across India,  and then meet the youths getting training at an Agriculture Science Centre. She will lay the foundation stone of a community centre and thereafter will attend the meeting of the district vigilance committee. She will later inaugurate a branch of the UCO bank.
