Sonia to inaugurate rail coach factory in Lalganj

Congress president Sonia Gandhi will inaugurate the much-awaited rail coach factory in Lalganj during her two-days visit to her parliamentary constituency – Rae Bareli–from 7 Nov.
The rail coach factory was earlier expected to be inaugurated in July last, but the programme was postponed due to delay on the part of the administration in providing jobs to the farmers in lieu of their lands.
Some coaches that have been rolled out from the factory are being used in Rajdhani and Shatabdi Express trains, but the formal inauguration of the unit was lying pending. The Cong leader will inaugurate the rail coach factory on the first day of her visit.
