SOL to hire retd professors to deliver A-V lectures

In a bid to complete its course before next academic session, DU’s School of Open Learning (SOL) is planning to hire university teachers and retired professors to prepare audio-video lectures for the students.
The SOL authorities had asked its faculty member to prepare audio-video lectures for the students but the response was weak. ‘I gave 15 November as deadline to my college professors to volunteer for this work. But only two decided to do it. Therefore, we have decided to outsource this work to the professors of the university colleges. We have given our proposal to Khalsa college who have agreed to prepare lectures of Commerce course’, said CS Dubey, director of School of Open Learning.
He further said the lectures will be in Hindi and the college has also started improvising its technology.
