The students of School of Open Learning (SOL) may soon have their classes on regular basis apart from weekend during evening shifts at DU’s colleges.
According to the SOL director CS Dubey, ‘Since SOL doesn’t have infrastructure and staff facilities, we are exploring the idea to conduct daily classes at Ramjas, Kirori Mal, Daulat Ram and other such colleges which don’t have evening shifts.’ He said the classes are likely to commence in the next two weeks. ‘The teachers at the regular colleges are free by the evening, they can teach our students. We are hoping that classes will begin within next 10-20 days,’ he said.
