Smriti Irani helps woman who met with accident

Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani on Thursday played the role of a Samaritan when she attended to a woman, who met with a road accident at Pazhakutty about 20 km from here.

Irani, who was on her way to inaugurate the permanent campus of Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISR) at Vithura, witnessed a commotion and found a 41-year-old woman lying on the road after a van hit her scooter. Irani got down from her car and consoled the woman. She also asked the the police to rush the woman to the nearby hospital.
