‘Slain’ RTI activist Chandra Mohan Sharma to be brought to city from Nepal

After reports of arrest of ‘slained’ RTI activist Chandra Mohan Sharma in Nepal surfaced on Tuesday, police sources said that he is likely to be brought to the city on Thursday.
Sources further informed that a police team has reached Nepal to bring him to Noida. Police, however, are tight lipped about the news but sources claimed that he was traced earlier with the help of police surveillance.
Police sources said that one day after alleged death of RTI activist, missing report of a girl, living in Sharma’s locality was registered. When police started investigation, it was found that the missing girl was using sim card which was issued under Sharma’s name.
During investigation, it was also revealed that the girl was in constant touch with Sharma on his private number. Police, after putting her mobile to surveillance, traced it to Nepal. There were also reports that the duo were spotted in some parts of Karnataka but finally held in Nepal.
Meanwhile, police is waiting for Sharma to arrive in Noida to solve the mystery behind the case, including the man who was charred to death in car.
