Six youth injured in car accident

Five youngsters including a girl were injured after an Innova rammed into a Skoda at a signal on August Kranti Marg, south Delhi, late on Thursday night. According to police, the accident took place at the red light of Kamla Nehru, Gargi College intersection. A Skoda coming from the side of Greater Kailash was hit by the Innova coming from the opposite side.
The Skoda was being driven by Arjun, 24, who received serious injuries in the accident. His friend Balakrishna who was seated next to him was also injured the accident. Damini, 24, Ishan Rastogi, 24 and Rehan, 25 seated in Innova also received injuries in the accident. Occupants of both cars received were rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre for treatment, where Damini and Arjun are said to be critical.
Balakrishna, who was seated in the Skoda, later gave his statement to the police.
