Six-year-old raped

A minor girl was allegedly abducted and raped by her 25-year-old neighbour in north Delhi’s Jahangirpuri. The victim, aged around six years, was abducted by the accused, whose identity is not being revealed. The incident took place when she was playing near her house around 9.30 pm on Sunday in Jahangirpuri and raped her at a secluded place.The parents came to know about the incident when the victim returned home crying and bleeding. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. The police officials are waiting for the reports to be handed over to them. ‘The accused fled from the spot leaving her bleeding,’ said a police officer. The victim could identify the accused. However, the accused, known to the victim’s family, has been identified. ‘We are probing into the matter and further investigations is in progess,’ said a senior police officials.
