Shruti Haasan’s alleged stalker is a spot boy

A spot boy was on Saturday arrested from central Mumbai in connection with stalking and trespassing at actress Shruti Haasan’s house in suburban Bandra, police said.

The accused, identified as Ashok Shankar Trimukhe (45), was today arrested from Dharavi area today, Assistant Police Commissioner Shivaji Kolekar said.

‘He is a spot boy in Film City,’ Mr Kolekar said. 

The accused claimed that he had gone to Haasan’s residence to seek job for his brother, but before he could say anything, the actor got scared and banged the door, police said.

The accused also claimed that he had no intention to scare her.

According to the Bandra police, the incident occurred on Tuesday morning about 9.30 am when Shruti, the daughter of noted actor Kamal Haasan, answered the door bell of her sixth floor apartment in a building at Bandra.
