Showcasing Himalayan beauty

The beauty of the mighty Himalayas will be unveiled in Vaibhav Kaul’s Hear Me, O Himalaya! fundraising photography exhibition to be held from Thursday onwards. 

The nature lovers are in for a treat at the Hear Me, O Himalaya!<g data-gr-id="33">,</g> photography exhibition as Vaibhav Kaul pays tribute to the unparalleled beauty of the world’s mightiest mountains. 

The exhibition will comprise of around 50 mesmerising landscape exhibits, each of which tells an enchanting story about the various facets of the Himalayas from the point of view of the photographer, who is a research scholar at the UK-based University of Sheffield. Hear Me, O Himalaya! is a visual memoir of the beautiful conversations that Vaibhav has had with the Himalayas over the years. 

The exhibition also caters to the avid mountain lovers as peaks such as Kedarnath, Trishul, Nanda Devi and Annapurna for the spiritually inclined; lakes, meadows, wildflowers, birds and sheep from Kashmir, Lahaul, Garhwal, Kumaon, Nepal and Sikkim for the romantics and snowfields, glaciers, precipices for the adventurers, will also be featured on the show. 

Through the photography exhibition, Vaibhav will be paying visual homage to the world’s mightiest mountains. 

The event is also a fundraising initiative in collaboration with Saheli Trust, a non-profit organization working in Uttarakhand, to save and improve the lives of vulnerable, distressed, abused and abandoned women, adolescents and children.
