SHO, ASI of Sonia Vihar suspended for illegally occupying godown

Two police officials of the North-East district have been suspended for illegally occupying a godown in Sonia Vihar area on Tuesday.
Confirming the news of their suspension, a senior police official said that Station House Officer (SHO) Rohtash Kumar and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Bhup Singh posted at the Sonia Vihar police station went to the godown with 10-15 goons and illegally occupied the place.
The complainant, Mustaqeen said: “Both the SHO and ASI came with their goons. When I told them that I have proper documents pertaining to the land, they registered a false case on my name. When I approached the higher authorities, both the policemen were suspended.” According to the police, both Kumar and Singh are under suspension and a detailed departmental inquiry is being conducted.
