Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit on Sunday said that the 21st century belongs to the women in the world.
‘Our country has been providing opportunities to women to move ahead and fulfill their aspirations,’ she said. Dikshit exhorted women from minority communities to come out in large number to serve the society and the country. ‘They must be imparted education and skill training. The skilled minority women can contribute to the prosperity of India,’ she said. Dikshit also spoke about the 140 Gender Resources Centre. ‘These centres are also working for the betterment of minority women,’ she said.
