The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah has asked his newly formed team of national bearers to organise several campaigns and meetings to take all the developmental schemes announced by the prime minister Narendra Modi to the people considering assembly elections in some of the states.
The party president has stressed on re-capturing power in eight states. He has told his party leaders that they have to work hard to form governments whenever elections will held in Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Arunanchal Pradesh and Meghalaya.
‘He told us that he wants to see results rather than only dialogues. We were asked to make special efforts to win elections and form our government in states like Assam, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala and Tamil Nadu’ a party insider said.
‘Some of the government’s initiative, which we were asked to give more emphasis before the masses are schemes related to women safety, child welfare, education, farmers, small scale industries, efforts to contain price hike,’ he said.
When asked how the people of this country will be benefited with the awareness campaign, he said, ‘There will be a public assistance centers in all the state party offices where anyone can visit and update themselves about government’s initiatives on various schemes for the economically poor.’
It was learnt that Shah after getting response from all the states will prepare a progress report on how the schemes announced by the PM are implemented. Later he will submit his report to the government for final course of action.
Shah has asked his party men to convert their dream in to reality by winning the heart of the people through Cohesion (Sauhardaya), Communication (Samvad), and Coordination (Samanvaya). He also raised concern over some of the party leaders for not having good image in their respective areas for their lack of connection with the local issues.
Sources said, he has also suggested the Telangana chief minister KC Rao to take the opposition into confidence while announcing developmental projects.
