Security guard of pvt bank accidentally shoots himself

A 50-year-old security guard at HDFC Bank accidentally shot himself in east Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar area on Wednesday afternoon. The victim, identified as Fariyaz Khan, is a resident of Etawah in Uttar Pradesh and stays in East Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar area. He works as a cash van security guard in a private bank.
The incident took place at around 2 pm when Fariyaz, along with another security guard, came with the cash van of the bank to credit amount. While another person was re-filling the cash, Fariyaz sat outside the ATM. After a while, a bullet sound was heard and Fariyaz was found lying on the ground with a bullet in his chest. A PCR call was made and he was rushed to the nearby hospital where his condition is stated to be normal.
An FIR has been registered under 337 (Negligent act) at Shakarpur police station in this case.
