Second phase of CBSE counselling to start today

Central Board Secondary Education (CBSE) announced that the second phase of counselling to students and parents to cope with stress after the announcement of the Board results will begin from 27 May and continue till June on all working days, between 8 am to 10 pm. This is the 16th consecutive year that CBSE will be providing counselling to students and parents to overcome common psychological problems and general queries after the declaration of Class X and XII results.

According to a Board official, the CBSE Tele Counselling is an outreach programme which has been carefully designed keeping the heterogeneity of student’s population and geographical spread in mind. CBSE tele-counselling is largely offered by trained counsellors and principals from within CBSE-affiliated schools located in India and outside India. It is a voluntary, free-of-cost service provided by the participants.
