SDMC writes to NHAI on toll tax collection

SDMC has asked National Highway Authority of India to provide infrastructure at Gurgaon toll plaza for tax collection before shifting it from the boarder.

The SDMC commissioner Manish Gupta said the corporations will lose around Rs 100 crore per annum if the toll plaza is shifted without proper tax collection arrangements. The collection of toll tax at other entry points in the city has been outsourced to private contractors.
