Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay on Saturday challenged Aam Aadmi Party to conduct sting operations on those who contact party MLAs or leaders asking for support to form government. He alleged that the leaders of AAP and Congress are frustrated and indulging in accusatory politics and issue statements only to remain in news which have nothing to do with the ground-level politics.
‘AAP leaders claim to be master in sting operations. They have taught people of Delhi to conduct sting operations, then why don’t they conduct sting operations themselves to expose those who approach them to break their MLAs and leaders,’ said Upadhyay. He further said that AAP accuses BJP of engaging in horse trading while its leader Manish Sisodia was exposed by Congress MLA Asif Mohammad Khan.
He also termed the allegation of AAP’s Kumar Vishwas as ridiculous in which he said that in the month of May a BJP MP has told him that he should bring 12 MLAs to help in government. Upadhyay also attacked AAP which had supported Chandra Mohan Sharma, an RTI activist arrested for orchestrating his own murder for his girl friend, and his wife and both were AAP leaders.
Ridiculing the Congress leaders of Delhi, Upadhyay said that even after being rejected the by the whole country, they are still day dreaming. Only two days ago they had welcomed the appointment of DM Sapolia as the Chief Secretary of Delhi saying that he was their choice. He hailed the transferes of station house officers (SHOs) of Delhi as routine transfers as they were at their posts since last three-four years.
