Samajwadi Party member shot dead by two

A local Samajwadi Party member was shot dead by armed assailants in Loni area of Ghaziabad on Sunday evening. According to the police, two youngsters on a bike pumped several bullets in Babloo Gurjar and left only after ensuring he was dead. The victim was rushed to the nearby hospital but declared brought dead. The incident happened at around 7 pm. ‘In preliminary investigation, it appears to be a long time rivalry among the two groups,’ said Arvind Kumar Yadav, circle officer of the area from the crime spot.
