Salman promised to look into name issue: Khan Market traders

Bollywood star Salman Khan has agreed to “look seriously” into the demand of the traders of upscale Khan Market here asking him to change the name of his shopping web portal khanmarketonline.com. “We are having positive talks with Salman’s staff but we are yet to receive an official response in this regard which is likely to reach us in 2-3 days,” said an office bearer of a Khan Market association, seeking anonymity. “They have assured us that they do not intend to hurt our feelings or our business and they will look seriously into the matter,” he said. Salman on his 50th birthday in December last year had announced the launch of his shopping web portal which shared name with the 65-year-old market, frequented by the upper-class customers and foreigners in the national Capital.
