SAIL names distributors to extend product reach

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) on Friday said it has appointed distributors at Salem, Bhadravati, Vellore, Kurnool and Kannur in South India, for its stainless steel household products.

According to a statement, it has also launched first ‘Apna SAIL Salem Stainless Shoppe’ in Bengaluru’s upmarket area Koramangala. 

Through these distributors, SAIL will set up a network of retailers to extend the reach of its high quality stainless steel kitchen and tableware collection closer to the household consumer, SAIL said. 

Saswat Mukhopadhyay, General Manager In-charge of Special Steel Marketing in SAIL said a very large segment of Indian consumers is highly quality-conscious and is on the lookout for product attributes like design, finish for household products.
